Kirstie & Ben's Wedding at Farbridge, West Sussex
I had the pleasure of meeting up with Ben and Kirstie in 2013 soon after their engagement, and was honoured to photograph them in the early weeks of the new year to celebrate the occasion. Having spent a fun few hours together at the shoot, it was a real privilege to be invited to then capture their beautiful wedding day just a couple of months on.
This couple struck me immediately, not only for their obvious style and taste but also due to their difference in height! This unavoidable yet fantastic visual feature of them as a pair added a fun and amusing slant to the photography in both shoots. With Ben standing tall and Kirstie being so petite by his side, I must admit I really enjoyed the challenge of using the height differences creatively to work to their credit whilst bringing dynamic shaping and interest to the pictures.

Sarah & Matt's Icelandic wedding
This blog is a particularly special one for me as since the age of four, Sarah and I have been close friends and have grown up together sharing all the landmark moments in life. When Sarah and Matt asked me to photograph their wedding day of course I was thrilled to accept the invitation, feeling so honoured to be able to do this. When I learnt that I would be travelling to Iceland for the big day, well you can imagine my delight and excitement for the adventure that I was to embark upon! The whole experience was incredibly fun whilst scattered with challenges and comical moments!

In February 2014 I returned to the stunning family-run venue of Southend Barns in all it's wintery glory, excited to shoot the wedding of Sarah and Jay. I particularly love these exquisitely presented barns for their notable charm and rustic quality which never fail to provide me with a variety of beautiful backdrops for my photography. On this bright and sunny morning, the crisp blue sky perfectly framed the turrets to the the venue's entrance, setting the scene ready for the grand arrival of the special couple.
