Kymberly and Stephen’s Wedding at Upwaltham Barns, West Sussex

In the heart of October, as the hills were painted in rich autumn hues, we had the absolute pleasure of capturing Kymberly & Stephen’s beautifully autumnal wedding day at the stunning Upwaltham Barns, nestled in the colourful South Downs.

Their palette of burnt oranges, deep reds and forest greens blended effortlessly with the season and the rustic charm of the barns. These rich, warm tones flowed through the florals and décor, perfectly complementing Stephen’s forest-green three-piece suit, his best man’s look and the bridesmaids’ floor length, silk dresses.

A beautifully heartwarming moment was Kymberly’s emotional bridal reveal to her grandad, filled with love, care and connection. From there, she gracefully walked down the aisle in her fairytale lace gown with delicate autumn details, to share heartfelt vows with Stephen, surrounded by beautiful florals, setting a romantic and intimate atmosphere for all their family and friends in Upwaltham’s romantic East Barn. This beautiful theme continued in the reception barn, where laughter, love and a delicious three-course meal were followed by speeches that were equal parts touching and hilarious.

Throughout the day, the love and companionship this couple shared with each other shone through. You could see the joy in their faces as they saw each other for the first time and then became husband and wife. As the sun began to set over the downs, we wanted to capture this emotion for them against stunning autumnal backdrops, bathed in the golden light of the season. With the sun set, the dance floor warming up, and everyone celebrating the love and happiness of this wonderful pair, their special day was brought to a perfect close.

Jaz and Matt’s Autumn Wedding at Southend Barns.

We are delighted to share a glimpse of Jazmine and Matt’s autumnal wedding at the picturesque Southend Barns, nestled in the dreamy countryside of West Sussex.

This creative couple’s artistic personalities shone through every thoughtful touch they brought to their day. Their striking outfits carried subtle hints of autumn, from Jazmine’s flowing chapel-length veil with delicate leaf-lace detail to the rich seasonal tones woven throughout the venue décor. Candlelight flooded the Thrashing Barn during dinner, casting a warm, intimate glow over their vibrant palette of oranges, reds, beige and deep greens.

The bridesmaids brought a beautiful burst of colour with their dresses, perfectly paired with full warm-toned bouquets, while the Groom and his groomsmen stood out in dashing three-piece natural-toned suits with tweed waistcoats and forest-green silk ties. With pumpkins scattered around the rustic barns and a magical firework display lighting up the night sky, subtle nods to Halloween and Bonfire Night were seamlessly threaded through their celebration.

As Jazmine, Matt and their guests filled the air with laughter and joy, we loved matching their artistic flair by capturing images that truly reflect their creativity and character. They requested photographs that felt uniquely them, fun, moody, eye-catching and full of the day’s autumnal essence. Bringing a couple’s vision to life with personality, silliness and artistic touches is always a welcome challenge, and a wonderful chance for creativity to flow.

Their styling didn’t stop there, they asked their guests to wear smart black outfits, creating a dramatic contrast in the group images and candid moments, which allowed the bridal party to stand out beautifully against the deep, elegant backdrop. From the cocktails and seasonal dishes to the groomsmen’s socks and Jazmine’s delicate leaf-patterned jewellery, we made sure to capture not only the big, joyful moments but all the small, meaningful details that brought their vision together.

OUT OF THE ORDINARY

Jodie & Tobie’s Autumn Wedding at Cain Manor, Hampshire.

At the beginning of October, we had the joy of capturing Jodie & Tobie’s magical wedding day. They chose Cain Manor, a stunning Elizabethan manor built in the late 16th century, perched on the rolling slopes at the foot of the South Downs National Park. With its Tudor charm, barn-style architecture and sweeping countryside views, it was the perfect backdrop for their rustic, autumn-inspired celebration.

The grounds surrounding Cain Manor were awash with golden yellows, rich earthy browns and vibrant oranges, the dream setting for Jodie & Tobie’s colour palette of vintage greens and warm autumn tones. As the day unfolded, we made full use of every picturesque corner that had drawn them to this incredible venue.

Their ceremony was filled with warmth, emotion and the unmistakable connection they share. Afterwards, family and friends gathered in the courtyard, ready to shower the newlyweds in confetti petals, a moment that sparked huge smiles and a lot of joy!

The gardens offered leafy archways, winding paths and soft autumnal textures, giving us the perfect settings for natural mingling shots and those timeless family portraits. With a magnificent burgundy Rolls Royce as their wedding transport, we simply had to use it as part of their couple portraits. Its deep tones complemented the surrounding colours perfectly and added a touch of luxury that mirrored Jodie & Tobie’s elegant style.

Jodie looked breathtaking in a gown that blended timeless elegance with soft romance. An off-the-shoulder neckline, fitted bodice and graceful skirt, paired with a classic veil and an autumn bouquet. Tobie’s olive-toned tweed suit was the perfect match, bringing together classic tailoring and seasonal charm. His crisp white shirt, lighter tie and autumn-inspired buttonhole worked beautifully into the rich palette of soft greens, burnt oranges and natural textures. The bridesmaids then completed the look with their long, silk, vintage-green dresses. A stunning visual connection to the wedding day theme.

Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal in the breathtaking Music Room, surrounded by high beams and warm wooden textures. Jodie & Tobie had styled the space with burnt orange florals and soft autumn accents, creating a beautifully cosy and inviting atmosphere. Heartfelt and hilarious speeches followed, setting the tone perfectly for the evening ahead.

Before the celebrations kicked into full party mode, we stole the couple away for some romantic sunset portraits, joyful moments that captured their deep connection and will serve as cherished memories in their album.

As night settled in, the log fires crackled, the cake was cut, and the dance floor came alive. Jodie & Tobie created a day that was beautifully timeless and elegant, yet relaxed and full of personality, a true reflection of the love and warmth they share.
