Harley and Jack’s Spring Upwaltham Barns Wedding
We were up against the elements on Harley and Jack’s wedding day at the dreamily picturesque Upwaltham Barns set in the rolling West Sussex countryside in April. Just moments before we took this stunning image we were sheltering from a brief yet gusty snow storm!
Along with the excitement of the rarity of snow on a wedding day, Mother Nature also gifted a glorious sunset allowing us to orchestrate a scene encompassing this stylish couple against the venue’s epic vista making their iconic ‘Upwaltham Hill’ image all the more precious.
We lined up the camera as the sun cast its rays onto Harley and together with the flare of the lens threw this happy bride into the limelight. The warming glow enhances the beautiful flow of her intricate lace dress and flowing train as it echoes the shape of her artistically styled curly updo, as Jack chases his bride across the lush grasses and together they chase the sun.

Emma and Evan’s March Tithe Barn Wedding
Winter was just meeting spring on Emma and Evan’s wedding day furnishing the glorious grounds of their dream venue, the Tithe Barn, with bursts of joyful yellow and vibrant greens.
These natural hues worked wonderfully with the classic shades of sage green and white that this lovely couple had as their chosen colour palette, whilst the greys of the men’s suits tied in seamlessly with the early spring day.
We couldn’t resist posing Emma, Evan and their bridal party in front of the rustic lines and textures of the Grade II listed barn with its impressive flint walls and intricate window brickwork – the perfect backdrop to showcase their vision.

Helen and Freddie’s Winter Southend Barns Wedding
Helen and Freddie were blessed with a crisp sunny winter’s day for their beautifully elegant wedding nestled in the stunning West Sussex countryside at the picturesque Southend Barns.
It was a delight to witness these childhood sweethearts, who have known each other since they were babies, finally tie the knot. All their loved ones were with them to share in the joy of the ceremony and celebrations as the couple said ‘I do’.
Here we captured the time tested, strong connection between Helen and Freddie as they took a moment alone together hand in hand watching the sun go down as it projected its stunning sunset colours creating these solid silhouettes. Such a generous gift from Mother Nature on our first wedding of the year!
