Jess & Jack’s Autumn Wedding at Southend Barns, West Sussex
Jess & Jack were married in early October, just as the leaves began turning those beautiful golden yellows, rich earthy browns and vibrant oranges. The perfect backdrop for their colour palette of soft, neutral autumn tones. Their choice of season and styling blended seamlessly with their venue, the charmingly rustic Southend Barns, nestled in the heart of the South Downs.
From the start, Jess & Jack were determined to make their day feel truly “them,” weaving personal touches and meaningful traditions through every moment. Their adorable dog Norman proudly took on the role of ring bearer, looking very dapper in his little wedding outfit and melting everyone’s hearts.
In true Jess & Jack style, they swapped the traditional cake for a prosecco tower, a fun, fizz-filled way to kick off the evening and the perfect moment for relaxed, joyful photos. Guests roasted s’mores around the fire pit, enjoyed a delicious vegan-inspired menu created with the incredible Roots Catering team, and soaked up an atmosphere overflowing with laughter, warmth and celebration.
Jack’s sage green tweed suit and the bridesmaids’ champagne silk dresses paired beautifully with the delicate dried flower bouquets and buttonholes in burnt orange. Adding the perfect pop of autumnal colour. And Jess looked effortlessly stunning in her fitted A-line gown with its low back and delicate leaf-embellished veil, a gorgeous nod to both the season and her naturally warm, glowing personality.
The weather gave us the dreamiest mix of soft light, long green grasses, falling leaves and a warm sunset. The ideal backdrop to slip away with the couple for some quiet, romantic portraits that reflected their connection so beautifully.
Then it was back to the party, where the prosecco tower sparkled, the dance floor was buzzing with some fantastic moves, and the barns glowed under twinkling fairy lights and timeless party classics. The perfect end to a day that was unmistakably, wonderfully Jess & Jack.
Charlie & Ben’s Autumn Wedding at Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park.
Charlie & Ben chose Pembroke Lodge, a unique Grade II listed Georgian mansion set at the highest point of Richmond Park in London, surrounded by panoramic views and wild deer, to celebrate their beautiful wedding day.
September was the perfect choice for this outdoors-loving couple, as summer softened into autumn and the leaves began to turn golden. They embraced the warmth and richness of the season through their stunning colour palette. With burnt orange bridesmaid dresses, classy chocolate-brown blazers for Ben and his groomsmen, and vibrant bouquets full of autumn tones. Charlie’s fit-and-flare gown, adorned with delicate leaf-shaped lace, tied it all together perfectly, reflecting both her elegance and the natural beauty of the day.
From morning preparations filled with excitement to that emotional walk down the aisle, it was a joy to capture the true essence of Charlie & Ben’s connection, relaxed, joyful, and fun. Their day was a reflection of their personalities: warm, welcoming, and full of laughter.
The weather may have kept us on our toes, but it gifted us the most magical moments — a rainbow, bursts of golden sunshine, and moody skies that made for some truly striking couple portraits. As the sun set over Richmond Park, we stole a few quiet moments with them to create images that we hope will forever remind them of this vibrant, love-filled day.
The celebrations continued with four fantastic, heartfelt speeches that had everyone laughing and cheering before the evening unfolded into a packed dance floor full of energy and joy, the perfect end to a wonderful autumn wedding.
