Aimee & Callum Malpass’ Summer Wedding at Tithe Barn
Aimee & Callum planned the perfect outdoor, summer garden-party-style wedding back at the end of August at the stunning Tithe Barn, nestled in the heart of the South Downs. But the great British weather had other ideas!
Turning their elegant outdoor celebration into a joyful indoor dance party, Aimee & Callum didn’t let a drop of rain dampen their spirits. Their delicate colour palette of soft pastel pinks and blues brought a timeless, summery feel to the day, perfectly complementing the barn’s pale stone walls and rustic charm.
Aimee looked incredible in her fitted lace gown, paired beautifully with her bridesmaids’ floaty pale blue dresses. Callum and his groomsmen looked sharp in tweed blue suits with subtle pink accents. A perfect match for the English summer vibe. These light tones brought warmth and style to even the greyest of skies.
The rain set in just after their confetti moment giving us the chance to capture some wonderful natural shots of pure happiness. From that moment on, the barns were alive with live music, chatter, champagne (and the odd shot!), laughter, and even a little pre-dinner dancing!
With its high ceilings and cathedral-like arches draped in lights and lanterns, the Tithe Barn provided the perfect backdrop for us to capture all the emotion and energy of the day. As the evening went on, the dance floor came alive, the lights glowed, and the atmosphere was pure celebration.
Before the night ended, we braved the rain, umbrellas in hand and with a little help from a willing groomsman to capture one final, dramatic night shot in the rain. Proving even a grey sky can’t dull the glow of a couple this full of love and joy, it was a perfectly cinematic end to a magical day.
Aimee & Callum we absolutely loved how you took a grey day and turned it into one full of fun and laughter. You created such a joyful atmosphere that allowed everyone to truly share in your love and enjoy every moment. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with happiness.
