Alex & Chris’ Winter Wedding at The Tythe Barn, Priston Mill, Bath.
As winter began and the first snowflakes fell, we made our way to the historic city of Bath to capture Alex and Chris’s unforgettable wedding day. Their celebration took place at the enchanting Priston Mill, nestled in a valley within the Duchy of Cornwall’s Newton Park Estate and a truly magical location to embrace the beauty of the season. Alex and Chris embraced a stunning winter theme with a palette of cool blues and crisp navy, softened by delicate pinks in the bouquets, which added a gentle warmth to their look.
The day began with a heartwarming traditional ceremony at St. Mary’s Church in the charming village of Timsbury. Alex arrived in style, escorted by her proud father, who walked her down the aisle to meet Chris. In front of their closest family and friends, they shared personal vows and exchanged rings, creating a moment full of tradition and love.
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed to The Tythe Barn at Priston Mill, where Alex and Chris’s thoughtful touches ensured everyone felt cozy and included. Warm mulled wine, roaring fires, and comfy seating with blankets greeted guests, setting the perfect wintery tone. The celebrations continued with heartfelt toasts accompanied by handmade limoncello, delicious doughnuts for a sweet evening treat, and a fantastic band that filled the barn with energy and joy.
As lovers of the outdoors, Alex and Chris braved the winter chills for portraits that captured the breathtaking Somerset countryside, the stunning architecture of their venues, and their love for each other. As the day unfolded, the crisp winter air gifted us a spectacular sunset, filling the sky with vibrant colours and providing the perfect backdrop to celebrate their love and fun-loving personalities.
