THE WALLED GARDENS OF EDEN

Hannah & Chris’s September Cowdray Walled Gardens Wedding
The bride and groom shared a wonderfully outdoors autumnal wedding with their loved ones under a warm and bright September sky, allowing them to showcase their love of the open air and their light hearted natures throughout their big day.
The gleaming seasonal sun wonderfully enhanced their gorgeously rustic, burnt orange colour scheme which they had woven superbly throughout their dream venue, The Walled Gardens at Cowdray, where the stunning grounds were in full bloom.
This happy couple pulled out all of the stops to bring their perfect day to life, creating a celebration that was beautiful in every way… and a lot of fun too.
SO MUCH FUN IN THE SUN
Getting to know our bride and groom and discovering their personality and character is always such a joy, and it allows us to create unique portraits that are truly reflective of them both as individuals and as a couple.
A great opportunity to capture these portraits is when they are surrounded by their besties as their interactions further reveal their friendship dynamics and humour.
This sophisticated, banquet table lent itself perfectly to the dry, witty banter of sharp suited Chris and his groomsmen setting a solid intelligent tone whilst his theatrical best man brings the punchline behind them injecting a quirkiness into the scene.

With a sense of humour to match the boys, we took the opportunity to capture Hannah and her bridesmaids footloose and fancy free as they share in the excitement for the big day striking playful poses under the sun's rays embodying the warmth that they share for each other.

WHEN TWO BECOME ONE
The feel good factor kept flowing as the couple united, pouring their shared sense of fun and the love that they have for one another into the ceremony. The elation spread to all as guests got fully on board with the cheer and needed no convincing to join Hannah and Chris in a heart lifting rendition of the non-traditional Sweet Caroline - another lovely personal touch to their celebrations.
It was a pure delight to witness and capture this joy as the space filled with the harmonious sounds of the wedding party’s playful tones bouncing from the charmingly picturesque walls.
Not forgetting why they were there, Hannah and Chris shared their heartfelt vows with each other in front of this fabulous autumnal themed flower arch beneath the warm sun surrounded by loved ones.

And soon the jubilant bliss was simply resonating out of them as they joined hands to dance their way down the aisle taking their first steps as husband and wife.
SETTING THE SCENE WITH ORANGE AND GREEN
It’s clear to see how Hannah and Chris’s vision for intertwining their beloved autumnal burnt orange colour palette with the greens of the outdoors came together on so many levels.
The garden at sunset proved a fitting location in which to cut their cake with the charming tones of the lush green foliage and warm orange brickwork embodying the brief of their wedding theme impeccably - a perfect match for the cricket loving newlyweds!

And it can’t have been pure coincidence that the artistically mouthwatering food took on the strong orange and green theme for this colourful day.

This creative couple’s choice of details continued to be magically on point in the Courtyard Room. This visual feast of chosen wedding breakfast decor tied brilliantly into the room’s charming interior - right down to the on-trend copper cutlery bringing its own sense of warmth and style.

Hannah and Chris also brought an ‘outside in’ feel to the tables with a coffee theme inspired by their love of a cup of the strong brew shared on walks together setting an earthy and aromatic ambience.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Never wanting to miss a trick we always make sure to utilise as much of one location as we can to capture a varied style of photography - especially at sunset when time is of the essence to catch those dreamy shots.
This allows us to showcase our couples personalities in a number of ways and also to fully showcase the venue and atmosphere of the day.
We posed Hannah and Chris to create an image with a modern street vibe with Hannah looking alluringly elegant against the striking backdrop as Chris strolls by in a cool and casual manner - both bathed in orange sunlight.
And with just a turn of the heel we were able to capture a romantic silhouette image as the two of them come together wrapped in the lowering sun’s radiance, symbolising the warmth of love between them.
Hannah and Chris we loved capturing all of your day’s special moments and hope that your lives continue to be full of warmth, love and laughter as you walk hand in hand together.
