Our venue recommended a few photographers and after reaching out to them, we loved Kelly’s personal response of wanting to meet us face to face. We booked her straight away! Her knowledge and confidence of the venue provided us with nothing but reassurance in the fact that we knew she’d capture the best of our day. One comment Kelly made at our first meeting stuck with me, “if you want the sunset photo on top of the hill (Upwaltham), I know the exact time and positioning that you need to be in for an August wedding”. I was sold.
Kelly and the team have been nothing but accommodating, despite three COVID postponements. Kelly was on hand the whole way through the pandemic and even suggested and masked up to capture our Would Be Wedding Day photoshoot at Upwaltham so we were still able to celebrate what would have been. The detail Kelly puts into even just the build up, ensured that the day itself was plain sailing. The organisation of the photographs was like nothing I’d seen before at other weddings. No photos were forgotten or missed and our extra long cocktail hour/photos meant that despite guests waiting around for four hours, they didn’t even realise - often commenting on how efficient and quickly it all went.
One of our main priorities was capturing our three year old, whilst not causing too much stress or pressure. Kelly was on it and got our family photo done straight away, but also managed to get him cooperating in every photo he needed to be, although sometimes with a frown!
Kelly learnt who Ayden and I were as a couple and incorporated that into our wedding photos, giving us the editorial style we’d dreamt of.
The album we received at the end was sensational and something we will treasure forever. I cannot thank our lucky stars enough for sending us to Kelly and for her being available on all three of our wedding dates! It’s thanks to her and the team that we had the day we did and have the memories to prove it.Kelly will forever have a special place in our hearts and I’m already thinking of reasons for booking another shoot!
