FLOWER POWER

Jade and Ayden’s Summer Upwaltham Barns Wedding

Jade and Ayden’s wedding at the gorgeous Upwaltham Barns in West Sussex proved to be a seriously stylish affair. With an abundance of florals and harmonious neutral tones weaved throughout the day all brought lovingly to life with a plethora of warm and joyful emotions.

This show stopping pair certainly didn’t hold back when it came to decorating their dream venue with flowers and foliage - the stunning arrangements of epic proportions, expertly created by the very talented Lucy at The Floral Artisan, were simply stunning - perfectly suited to the gloriously August sunny day and the grandeur of the barns.

A lofty cascading wisteria canopy combined with Jade’s graceful Pampas Grass Bouquet and shoeless feet struck a bohemian chord as we captured the couple against the complementing rustic flint and beam interior with Jade’s impressive train and 165” veil splaying to balance out her dress and the blooms overhead.

STRONG THEMES WITH HIGH SOCIETY DREAMS

Molli and Tom’s Summer Southend Barns Wedding

We knew Molli and Tom had grand plans for their wedding day at West Sussex’s stunning Southend Barns and it was perfect to see them all come together.

This creative couple cleverly wove three strong themes through their ceremony in the Secret Garden and celebrations in the Threshing Barn to make their dreams and visions come true.

The lavishly stylised day incorporated their chosen colour palette of pale pinks and blues, their love of ‘rustic’ and roses and all the romance and flamboyance of their favourite regency period drama ‘Bridgerton’. This visual feast of opulence was enhanced with Bridgerton-esque music playing throughout the barns enhancing the tone for an epic wedding banquet fit for High Society.

We feel that this one image captures all of their themes, with Molli in true regency pose. Tom is clearly on a high from how the whole day came together.

TWO WEDDINGS ONE LOVE

Amy and Dave’s Two-Part Summer Wedding at Lyminster Church and The Walled Gardens Cowdray

Keen to tie the knot but equally keen to party with all those they love, Amy and Dave made it work in the face of adversity as they planned their big day around the restrictions of the pandemic. This determined couple decided on a dual date wedding and totally smashed it!

15 was definitely the magic number, as they organised 15 guests on the 15th of May for their wedding ceremony, followed by a blessing and party three months later on August 15th.

We made sure we kept in touch with Amy and Dave to support them as they tailored their plans in the run up to their big days and when Amy said she was going to have a different style dress for each occasion they loved my suggestion to reflect this in their photography.

For ‘Part One’ they totally rocked the contemporary industrial look with Amy’s on-trend pairing of laid-back leather biker jacket with flowing gown and veil from Ghost, and Dave’s modern three piece suit in stylish blue and grey from Moss Bros.

A WINNING TEAM!

Katie and Stuart’s Summer Tithe Barn Wedding

Katie and Stuart pulled out all the stops to personalise their August wedding at the beautiful Tithe Barn, set in the heart of the South Down National Park. They happily wove accents of their favourite things through their choice of details making it a unique day of special meaning.

Both being PE teachers and having met through their love of basketball, sport was top of the leaderboard for their choice of themed personal touches.

As were their fondest refreshments which included their alcohol themed table plan for getting their guests in the party mood and a welcome Pimms. There was also a choice of delicious handmade ice creams from the scrumptious and oh so kitsch Caravanilla for guests to enjoy as they mingle and celebrate on the lawn in the dazzling summer sunshine.

Not only was this cool choice a great fit for a summer's day but the retro caravan’s design tied in perfectly with Katie and Stuart’s seasonal pale green and white colour scheme and gave their guests a boost of energy before taking part in a spot of volleyball on the lawn!
