TALES OF THE UNEXPECTED

October 26, 2021

Fiona and Jack’s Southend Barns Summer Wedding

Fiona and Jack’s wedding day at the charming Southend Barns set within the beautiful West Sussex countryside proved to be a delightful mix of traditional touches and unconventional outcomes.

This lovely couple requested something more ‘Out of the Box’ from their photography whilst wanting to blend the family customs that were dear to them.

Combining their imaginative vision and my creative direction we orchestrated a collection of personal, engaging and amusing images to tell their specific story... Expect the unexpected!

The couple kept their outfits classy and classic with Fiona in her elegant white gown with high neckline and unique detailed back design with full skirt from Hannah Elizabeth Bridal Boutique and Jack in his MacDonald family clan tie complete with dark blue tweed suit from Astares.

When it came to styling out their attire the results were a step away from the classical as we broke from tradition when posing them in the corn fields.

SUNSHINE AFTER THE RAIN

Becca and Jack’s Southdowns Manor Summer Wedding

There was a buzz for Becca and Jack as they made the most of the sunny spells and showery moments cast upon their dream wedding venue, Southdowns Manor, nestled in the heart of West Sussex’s South Downs National Park.

This delightful couple shone with happiness throughout the day and certainly made the most of the changing conditions as they fully embraced every opportunity we had to get outside and photograph them in the manor’s glorious grounds.

As the day came to a close, we took this incredible opportunity to capture just the two of them, under the fairy tale sparkling lights and the stormy summer night sky.

LET THE SUNSHINE IN

Emma and Steve’s Tithe Barn Summer Wedding

Steve and Emma’s wedding at the gorgeous Tithe Barn in rural Hampshire was a bright and beautiful occasion. Their delightful sunflower theme was perfect for what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year.

The sunflowers made for a wonderful pastoral pairing to the venue’s Grade II listed barn with it’s impressively lofty stone arches, exposed beams and traditional flagstone floor set in the heart of the Southdowns National Park.

This sunny floral choice combined with the super sunny weather proved to be a match made in heaven - just like the happy couple themselves.
